Adderbury Village is where I live. It is a fine old ironstone village located some four miles south of Banbury and straddling the A4260. The view here shows the High Street, looking west towards the parish church.

We have our own County Council Library which is located in Church House, Church Street. It is open Tuesday 10.00am - 12.00pm and 3.00pm - 7.00pm; Thursday 2.00pm - 5.00pm and 6.00pm - 7.00pm; Friday 10.00am - 12.00pm and 2.00pm - 5pm; and Saturday 9.30am - 1.00pm. The librarian is Mrs Sue Hitchens.

Planning Applications are decided by Cherwell District Council after seeking the Parish Council's view. The District Council is bound by national, regional and county planning rules and is under huge pressure from the current government to encourage higher densities, less car use and, above all, to build more and more homes.
