![]() Bloxham Village is the largest in my County Electoral Division. The picture (left) shows Church Street, looking north from the junction with the Barford Road towards the Church. The primary school is Bloxham (C of E) Primary School and is located at the junction of Tadmarton Road and Courtington Lane. The headmaster is Mr Matthew Ingall. This is a link to the Web Site. There is a Children's Centre linked to the Primary School called Butterfly Meadows. It is open on Mondays from 9:30 am to 11:00 am and on Fridays from 9:30 am to 11:0 am and from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm (for under ones). It is for children aged under five years. Here is a link to the Butterfly Meadows web site. The Warriner Secondary School is located to the north of the village at the junction of Banbury Road, Ells Lane and Bloxham Grove.. The headmistress is Dr Annabel Kay. This is a link to the Web Site. Bloxham School is an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls and is located in High Street. The headmaster is Mr Mark Allbrook. This is the link to the Web Site. We have our own County Council Mobile Library which calls every Monday as follows: Humber Street 1:25 pm to 1:55 pm; Primary School 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm; Strawberry Hill 2:35 pm to 4:55 pm; Parish Church 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The District Council is bound by national, regional and county planning rules and was under huge pressure from the last government to encourage higher densities, less car use and, above all, to build more and more homes.
