Bloxham Village is the largest in my County Electoral Division.  This shows Church Street, looking north from the junction with the Barford Road towards the Church.

The primary school is Bloxham (C of E) Primary School and is located at the junction of Tadmarton Road and Courtington Lane.  The headmaster is Mr Matthew Ingall.  This is the link to the web site: www.bloxham-pri.oxon.sch.uk.

The Warriner Secondary School is located to the north of the village at the junction of Banbury Road, Ells Lane and Bloxham Grove..  The headmaster is Mr Nick Hindmarsh. This is the link to the web site: www.thewarrinrschool.co.uk

Bloxham School is an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls and is located in High Street. The headmaster is Mark Allbrook.  This is the link to the web site:  www.bloxhamschool.com.

We have our own County Council Mobile Library which calls every Monday as follows: Humber Street  1:25 pm to 1:55 pm; Primary School 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm;   Strawberry Hill 2:35 pm to 4:55 pm; Parish Church 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

Your District Councillors are Cllr Eric Heath (address:  17 Schofields Way, Bloxham, Oxon  OX15 4NS;  'phone: 01295 720705;  e-mail: eric@17schofields.freeserve.co.uk) and Cllr Miss Lynda Thirzie Smart  (address: Nell Bridge House, Adderbury, Oxon  OX17 3NU; 'phone 01295 812584; e-mail:  lynda.thirzie@btinternet.com).  Cherwell District Council deals with benefits (council tax and housing), economic development, environmental health, housing, planning, recreation and collects the council tax.  Here is the link to the Cherwell Web Site: www.cherwell-dc.gov.uk.

The Parish Council meets in The Parish Rooms, next to the Church the first Monday of most months.  The Chairman is Mr Dave Chapman ('phone: 01295 721193; e-mail: brian.chapman8@btopenworld.com) and the Clerk is Mr David Godfrey ('phone: 01295 720556: e-mail:  bloxhampc@dsl.pipex.com).  This is the link to the Parish Council web site: www.bloxham-parish-council.org.

Planning Applications are decided by Cherwell District Council after seeking the Parish Council's view.  The District Council is bound by national, regional and county planning rules and is under huge pressure from the current government to encourage higher densities, less car use and, above all, to build more and more homes.  Click here for a list of Planning Applications currently under consideration by Cherwell: Planning

There is a Bloxham Village Web Sitehttp://bloxham.info/broadsheet.

The village magazine is called Bloxham Broadsheet and the editorial contact is Brenda Kirkham ('phone: 01295 720104; e-mail: brenda.k@sophieshe.fsnet.co.uk).

My monthly Councillor's Village Surgery is on the first Saturday of every month, in the Ex-Servicemen's Hall, High Street from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. All are welcome;  I will help with any problem relating to local public services.
