Planning Applications are decided by Cherwell District Council after seeking the Parish Council's view. The District Council is bound by national, regional and county planning rules and is under huge pressure from the current government to encourage higher densities, less car use and, above all, to build more and more homes. Click here for a list of Planning Applications currently under consideration by Cherwell: Planning There is a Milcombe Village Web Site: http://milcombe.com. The village magazine is called The Dove and the editorial contact is Hazel Davis ('phone: 01295 722936; e-mail: hazel.davis192@btinternet.com). My monthly Councillor's Village Surgery is on the second Saturday of every month, in the Horse and Groom Public House from 12 noon to 1:00 pm. My thanks to Richard Argyle, the landlord, who will always make a quiet place available for a private discussion where it is necessary. All are welcome; I will help with any problem relating to local public services.
